The Nerve Centre gig was a great success, thanks to everyone who made it to the gig, and a big thanks to Hybris for asking us to play (they were amazing on the night). Cultural Dissonance
Sandstone has just completed work on our 3rd studio album which will be called Cultural Dissonance. The album is due for release in the first half of 2011 via Limb Music. More details to follow...

Nerve Center
Sandstone is currently in rehearsals for our first live gig in 2011. This will be in the Nerve Center Derry on the 29th of Jan. We will be supporting Hybris for their CD launch.

Sandstone Purging The Past out 30th October
Sandstone can officially announce that following some spectacular reviews of our self-financed release, "Purging The Past" will be re-released worldwide by Limb Music on the 30th of October 2009. The new version features new artwork and a complete remixed and re-master by Uwe Lullis (ex Gravedigger Rebellion).

Sandstone are proud to announce that we have just signed a deal with German label Limb Music Products and Publishing. This is a 5 album deal and our first release will be "Purging The Past" remixed and re-mastered by Uwe Lullis (ex Gravedigger Rebellion).

Limb Music has been existence as a label for 12 years and is one of the leading labels worldwide for Melodic, Heavy, Power, Speed, True, Symphonic and Progressive Metal. The inhouse music publishing company, Limb Music Publishing will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year and looks after bands such as Vanden Plas, Abydos, Tiles, Magnitude 9, Poverty's No Crime as well as most of the label's own artistes.

Label manager Limb Schnoor was already managing bands such as Helloween, Mania, Heavens Gate, Eldritch, Viper, Angra back in the 80s and 90s and was responsible for the establishment of such musical heavyweights as Rhapsody (Of Fire) and Luca Turilli.

The band is excited about our new partnership with such a legendary melodic metal manager as Limb and we're also pretty chuffed to be on the same roster as some of our heroes such as Pagan's Mind and Eldritch.

Purging the Past is scheduled for worldwide release on October 30th.

New CD 'Purging The Past' Due out Feb 23rd 2009
Casket Records will be releasing our second CD early this year.
This will feature songs that Stevie and Sean have recorded over the last 18 months. It will be available via the usual outlets. This version of the album has been discontinued as it has been re-released via Limb music
